Sakura Matsuri 2016

The Cherry Blossoms Festival, also known as the Sakura Matsuri was held last April. And finally, after 3 months I am sitting here in front of my screen blogging about my first experience of it at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Flowers were blooming everywhere and I could only describe that day with one word - magical. The cherry blossoms falling slowly down the trees looked as if it was snowing; only that it was warmer and filled with life. If only the flowers lasted longer on the trees, I could spend most of my days sitting by a cherry blossom. But I guess that's what makes spring so exciting and beautiful - and magical.
