At long last, I set foot in Boston once again! This time, I came with my two favourite creatures. Coming from New Jersey, the drive took almost 4 hours including traffic. Not so bad considering we've gone to further places before. Our Siberian Husky, Kira, has experienced traveling with us for the first time in North Carolina - which took us over 9 hours to drive. Going to Boston makes it her second road-trip adventure. Kira is definitely getting the hang of having wandering "hoomans".
Quincy Market is located in Faneuil Hall in downtown Boston and it is a must to stop into when visiting the city. There are a lot of food stalls inside (and I mean, a lot!). It's like a long hallway of quick-serve food chains. This place can get overcrowded with tourists, but it's not any reason from tasting the best soup in Quincy Market. Boston Chowda is a must-try when stopping into Quincy. For first timers, I suggest trying the New England Clam Chowder soup which is "Voted Boston's Best" and the Lobster Roll.

Aside from having a tasty trip down Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall also offers a lot of shopping stores and entertainment.
Beacon Hill is a historic neighborhood known for its narrow, gaslit streets and brick sidewalks. There's a street in Beacon Hill that I discovered while browsing around my Instagram page. I found so many people posting pictures of the famous street - from proposal pictures to wedding photo shoots. The beauty of the bricked neighborhood instantly caught my eyes that I made it a point to go check it out when I visit Boston. Finally, that happened. Acorn Street, as they say, is the most photographed street in the United States of America. Now I know why, and I couldn't agree more.

Looking like locals
The first photo I saw of Acorn Street on Instagram was a Golden Retriever resting on the side next to a doorstep. When I made it a point to visiting the place, I also included that I'd love to meet the famous photographed Instagram dog living on Beacon Hill. Later did I find out that that Golden Retriever named, Callie(click the name to read about Callie)recently passed away on December 8, 2015. Quite sad that I didn't get to meet the famous dog of Acorn, but just by looking at her home I can already imagine her laying by the steps. It gave me goosebumps when Kira stopped to sit right in front of Callie's home.

Despite the very cold weather condition in Boston, we managed to brave the wintry chills and wandered about the city. It was a short laid-back weekend trip. One we always look forward to getting a breath of fresh air away from work.

When Blizzard Jonas hit us in the East Coast, our Siberian Husky, Kira experienced her first winter snowstorm. She couldn't contain to keep her face off the snow. Considering her type of breed, it goes to show how much she really loves this time of the season.
And while Kira's rolling around happily in the snow, Dexter and I pretty much enjoyed it as well - shovelling and cleaning the car.
I was also inspired to make this video with the song Always by Panama after watching Nadine Lustre's and James Reid's adventure in San Francisco x Sacramento x Lake Tahoe, using the same music. Big credits to them for the inspiration because it's been quite awhile since I had the interest in editing videos. Enjoy!
It's been 16 months of happiness and love. But it's also been 16 months of learning from one another and learning to seek compromise. Because we all know that love isn't just rainbows and butterflies. It's about holding on, getting through the rainstorm, and finding sunlight to see the rainbow... and the butterflies. 365 days. Its been 365 days since the official beginning of our journey together, yet it surprises me somehow, that it's only been 365 days because I know to both of us, it seems like its been more than that. Over the year, I have witnessed the growth and development of our relationship. You've broken the walls I built from fear of giving love another chance, and you showed me day in and day out that there is such a thing as unconditional love and support. We've visited countless places together, from cities to mountains to beaches, from my hometown to your hometown. I've learned more about myself by living life with you than I could possibly ever imagine, pushing me outside of my comfort zone, only to find magic at every turn. I couldn't be more grateful for every second spent with you because you're more than I could ever ask for. Happy Anniversary my Love! You know what words come next...
